We want to extend our deepest gratitude for giving us the most incredible experience of our lives. From the very beginning, we could hardly believe how breathtaking the castle was in person - somehow even more beautiful and impeccably maintained than we could have imagined.

Leading up to the wedding, I must have sent over a hundred emails with questions, and without fail, each one was answered within thirty minutes. Every reply was kind, thorough, and accommodating. That level of responsiveness set the tone for what was to come: a wedding planned and executed with unparalleled care and attention to detail.

The staff’s warmth and attentiveness stood out not just to us but to every guest who joined us. From the way you made our families feel welcome to the seamless flow of the entire weekend, we felt taken care of in every way. The castle rooms were stunning, perfectly preserving historic charm while offering modern touches that made everyone feel comfortable and at home.

The food was another highlight we cannot go without mentioning. From the incredible buffet on Night One, to the hearty breakfasts, the delicious sandwiches, and of course the wedding dinner itself - every meal was outstanding. Even the little touches in the Buttery Kitchen delighted our guests. We are still hearing compliments about how exceptional every bite was.

We especially want to highlight the extraordinary care of Matthew, the manager on duty. From the moment we arrived, Matthew went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He was constantly attentive, checking in to make sure all was running smoothly, double-checking details, and anticipating needs before we even voiced them. Beyond his professionalism, his kindness shone through every interaction.

So many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. Bellingham Castle will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

As a couple living abroad, we so appreciate how easy it has been to get in contact with you and get answers to every little question. Whether by email or by phone, we really appreciated your consistently quick responses.

From our very first video walkthrough, it was clear you were on another level. You took us through all the key moments, asked us the right questions, and provided all the right information so we didn’t have to ask. This showed us from the start that you knew this game inside-out, but also that you deeply understand what couples need to know and care about. As a couple living abroad, this reassured us that we would be in safe hands. We also appreciated your guidance during planning, pushing back on us when something was unrealistic and ensuring everything would run smoothly on the day.

You were so open and willing to make everything we asked for happen – from hanging Danish flags, to baking Danish cakes. We so appreciate that you were flexible in accommodating all our requests and incorporated them seamlessly, which is a testament to the Bellingham team’s high level of service and execution.

On the day, the service was absolutely phenomenal. From welcoming us at the castle, to ensuring we had enough to eat and drink, to helping me with my dress at just the right moments – it was all flawless. The attention to detail was deeply impressive, always focused on making our day go smoother, keeping us calmer, and ensuring we could enjoy every moment. This wasn’t just noticed by us but by all our guests, who are still raving about the little touches like food being covered the moment someone stepped away from their table.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh – you’ve given us the perfect day of our dreams. Huge round of applause to every single one of you, including Murphy who allowed me multiple cuddles and photos!

We truly don’t know where to start. Saying “thank you” does not even begin to cover how grateful we are for our entire experience at Bellingham Castle. Two years ago we decided we were going to travel over to Ireland, from the states, to get married. After looking at a few venues online we came across Bellingham. We scheduled a call and immediately knew it was the one for us. We felt so comfortable, welcomed, and at ease after meeting the staff on our virtual call. Because of the time difference the staff set up late night meetings and video calls to show us the castle.

When we arrived at Bellingham on Tuesday we immediately stepped into our fairytale, any worry put to rest, and pure happiness is all we felt. We were treated like family, everyone helping us and checking on us. The service of the staff at Bellingham Castle was exceptional, beyond anything we could’ve imagined.

The next morning we woke up and it was our wedding day. Again, not an ounce of stress or worry, but just pure bliss waking up in Bellingham. As we both got ready with our wedding parties, we had staff checking on us and bringing us anything we needed. Nothing but smiles and memories all morning long. We enjoyed champagne, mimosas, Guinness and snacks as we got ready to say "I do!"

The entire night of our wedding was unforgettable. Our guests are still talking about the incredible food they enjoyed. They have raved about the delicious beef, potatoes, fish, appetizers, desserts, and everything in between. While we sat and listened to speeches and enjoyed our dinners, Ellen and Tom checked in on us to ensure we were happy and asked if we needed anything. The only thing we would've needed was for our perfect night to last forever.

We are so grateful for every single person at Bellingham Castle who made our dream wedding come to life.

Now we have had a week to process and discuss all our wonderful memories, we want to thank you so much for creating the greatest experience of our lives. When we booked Bellingham Castle as our wedding venue we had no doubt that the service, food and atmosphere of the day would be great. What we didn’t expect was to feel like a king and queen for the day.
From the moment we arrived and throughout the day nothing was ever an issue, the attention to detail was exemplary and the friendliness of the staff was incredible.
Having a canapé plate given to us when we arrived which gave us our first private moment and the trays of water during the photo shoot, to the the tucking of chairs throughout the meal, which was completely unexpected but was a great feeling, are just some of the moments that stood out.
Our server at the top table, Eoghan, is an incredible talent and a special thanks goes to him for his service throughout the meal. The positivity of all staff in all positions was great and recognised throughout the day and our guests have all said that the meal was top class!
During the speeches, we can’t remember her name, but one of the ladies helping organise the meal, helped with the father of the brides speeches and calmed the situation which was really appreciated by both sides of our family.
Also in the build up to the day, the communication made the whole process a lot easier, so thank you again for that.
We are honestly still blown away by the day and what you and your team provided. We can’t wait to be invited to a wedding at the castle or be able to stay at some point so we can explore a bit more and relive the day again.

We cannot thank the staff at Bellingham Castle enough for the incredible hospitality they gave us. We had initially opted to have an indoor ceremony because it was due to rain, but when I arrived and was met at the doors, I was asked if I wanted to hold the ceremony outside and that they could have the outdoor venue ready in 10 minutes. An army of staff descended upon the outdoor area and it was ready in no time.
They had an iPad on hand to show the bridal party what our walk would look like and the pace we should walk at. They even fluffed my dress and fixed my veil. Our guests were relocated and the ceremony was everything I wanted it to be and more - I was so delighted to have it outside.
After the ceremony we went to our room as we had our dogs with us and hadn't seen them that day. There was a knock on the door and two members of staff came in with canapés and glasses of champagne for us which we found so sweet. We headed back and had our photos taken and when we were called for dinner they again showed us a video of where to walk in relation to the tables. The meal was incredible. The staff were so on the ball every time we took a sip of our drinks they were topped up immediately. The food was top notch, the staff were amazing, and two months later our guests are still talking about it.
It really impressed us that staff came to the dancefloor and handed out our glow sticks to the guests. The night manager was fantastic. I had lost my bouquet and he came up to our room at 4am with not only my flowers, but tea, sandwiches, chocolates and chicken and carrots for our dogs. We can't thank you all enough for making our day so special.

Words can’t describe the love we have in our hearts for Bellingham Castle! A huge thank you to Ciara and all the team who were very helpful every time I called. What a stunning venue and the staff really make you feel so welcome, at home and cater to your every need! They literally went above and beyond. We found the venue in the summer of 2022 and as soon as those gates opened we knew we had found our dream wedding venue. Our wedding day was like something out of a fairytale. Our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful the venue is, and the food was top tier standard. We had some tough crowd pleasers when it comes to food in attendance at our wedding and they said they’ve never had better food. It is unbelievably good. The menu has such an amazing variety to cater to all guests and each course just was devine. We had a stunning day for weather so the drinks reception was outside as was the cake cutting. The rooms are stunning! Our guests said they never slept in more comfortable beds! Ciara gave us a top class welcome into the ballroom - we felt euphoric in that moment! It was honestly the best day of our entire lives and a day none of our guests will ever forget and we owe a lot of that to Bellingham Castle because as beautiful as the venue is, the people are even more beautiful. We wouldn’t have wanted to work with a nicer team of people. Thank you so much for an amazing day that we will never forget. I can’t wait to return!

Our wedding was an absolute fairy tale from start to finish, thanks to the incredible Bellingham Castle team. From our first contact, their clear, prompt, and professional communication reassured us that we had chosen the perfect venue. Their dedication shone through every interaction.
The level of service was beyond compare. Everything unfolded seamlessly over both days, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the fantastic service and attention to detail. Bellingham Castle isn’t just a wedding venue, it’s a full on experience. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended, largely due to the venue’s beauty, the staff’s dedication, and the incredible food.
Speaking of food, it was out of this world! The venue created a perfect blend of Irish and Indian cuisine. As a connoisseur of Indian food, I can attest that the chicken tikka on Day 2 was the best I’ve ever had. Every bite, from canapés to dinner courses to the BBQ, was delightful.
Organising a Hindu wedding with intricate rituals as an international bride was daunting, but Ciara and the team’s planning support and enthusiasm put me at ease. Their attention to detail was impeccable, accommodating our time difference and ensuring everything was perfect. Thank you, Bellingham Castle, for making our wedding dreams come true!

Where do we start with our thanks. The setting of the Castle is incredible and what draws people in BUT it is the staff who make Bellingham Castle experience INCREDIBLE.The warmth and friendliness of every member of staff int he run up to our wedding day but more particularly on the day itself exceeded our expectations and was the essence of a truly memorable and happy day for us. Cormac and myself would like to say a huge thank you to all the team at Bellingham Castle. Our wedding on the 5th of January was exceptional. We were so well taken care of and we had the best day.

All of our guests have been raving about the venue saying it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. They were continuously checked on at the tables to ensure they had what they needed. The top table was so well taken care of - I never had an empty glass. A special thank you to Joseph who I'm sure had the busiest day of us all! He was fabulous and went above and beyond for us. All we can say is thank you!
